Eye: The Demi-sec cuvée from the COURTOIS Champagne House has a fairly dense and satiny appearance, a deep lemon yellow color with deep silvery yellow reflections. It is animated by fine and lively bubbles which feed a delicate collar. The visual sensation announces a rich and fresh wine.
Noze: The first nose evokes mineral smells of smoked limestone, brioche bread, candied lemon with scents of mimosa and orange tree. It evolves with aeration towards more candied notes of peach, kumquat, sweet almond, blackcurrant, morello cherry, roasted figs, apple.
Palate: The approach on the palate is supple and frank with a creamy and melted effervescence. The Champagne develops a pulpy fruity substance refreshed by a lemony and orange acidity. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a marl-limestone minerality which gives chewiness, fruity resonance and length to the palate. The elegance of the material balances the dosage, which allows you to appreciate a slender and candied finish, allowing the return of citrus fruits to maintain an alert and greedy palate.
